This project involved the complete renovation of a 110m2 apartment overlooking the Eiffel Tower. The apartments principal asset lies in the layout of the existing space, organised around the terrace with its exceptional view of Paris.
To enrich the interior, lit plaster cornices were built into the false ceilings, contributing a specific light and atmosphere to each space.
This ceiling ornamentation also allowed for fluid and round forms to be introduced to the design, softening the efficiency and precision of the plan.
The same principal of fluidity was applied to the furniture, which was all custom-made by a cabinetmaker and coated in white lacquer with Macassar ebony detailing.
