Charcot elevation

The strength of this project lies in the diversity of its programs in a mixed building in the 13th arrondissement of Paris.
The most spectacular intervention is the elevation of this building of 4 houses with vegetated private terraces.
The main constraint was to work and build in a busy environment, the building housing a primary school and a high school on the lower floors.

Vincent Eschalier presents, with this elevation, an innovative approach to the occupation of urban space. Perfectly integrated into the landscape and crowning the building harmoniously, the houses can be seen from the street and offer what the city seems jealous: space, the sky as far as the eye can see, private and generous vegetated terraces.
