In Paris’s 18th arrondissement, the Studio supports La Montgolfière in the creation of its second Parisian location: a 2,800 sqm hybrid space dedicated to sport, well-being, culture, and coworking. More than a renovation, the project transforms a disparate group of early 20th-century buildings into an open, vibrant place aligned with contemporary uses.

The program unfolds across several levels: nearly half of the total area is devoted to sport and wellness, with six dedicated studios, a basement housing locker rooms, hammams, saunas, and a solarium, and four office floors including a coworking space with a terrace. On the ground floor, an audiophile café equipped by Hark reinforces the project’s social dimension. Studio Vincent Eschalier chose to de-densify the site by demolishing the least preserved building at the heart of the block, creating a visual opening toward the park and prioritising user comfort.

MVE-Collection designed most of the interior and custom furniture, notably pieces from the Opus solid concrete collection, complemented by AL13 aluminium elements and the SLS suspended linear light. Vintage furniture and restored lighting complete the project’s distinctive identity.
