Studio Vincent Eschalier operates on a townhouse in the elegant 16th arrondissement of Paris, and delivers a resolutely contemporary rehabilitation in a privileged setting. The main intervention took place inside the building which was derelict and highly damaged. The architect carried out an important cleaning of the premises and thus regained clarity in the spaces.

The raw ceiling, stainless steel and concrete bring an industrial spirit to the space. This combination of materials strenghten the noble aspect of solid wood floors and white paints. Creating an elegant and soothing work environment; a reinterpretation of the contemporary office. This contrast is also etablished on the historic facade, whose ironwork has been preserved to reinforce the contemporary aspect.
