In the 2nd arrondissement of Paris, near the Grands Boulevards, Studio Vincent Eschalier delivers an interior project between the gym, the dance studio and the nightclub: the MVMT Club!

The interior architecture is imagined like scenography. Large picture rails structure the spaces, and the circulations, and highlight the entrance to the sports hall; a real “acoustic box” developed to reach a maximum sound level at any time and in the heart of Paris. The materials, the wood, the matt black linen rubber floor, the mirrors, the black paint and the lighting reinforce the theatrical writing of the place and offer ever-changing perceptions and framings.

In interaction with the music and the movements, the play of light is repeated in the walls covered with mirrors and the ventilation ducts in shiny aluminum. The interior of the gym is thought of as a place apart, a totally black box in which to erase all limits, all landmarks and all notions of time.
