A stone’s throw from Place de la Madeleine and the Elysée Palace, the private mansion at 9 Argenson enjoys a prestigious location, while enjoying the tranquility of the small Parisian streets, away from activity of the Grand Boulevards.

To regain the legibility of the volumes, the architect carries out a major cleaning of the premises which reveals great heights under ceilings and offers a unique layout possibility with large skylights and generous spaces.

The challenge was to provide a marked, opulent, timeless and distinguished style, in harmony with the district where major banking brands and luxury houses rub shoulders. The interior architecture is inspired by the British Gentlemen’s Clubs, incorporating refined woodwork, leather benches and subdued spaces.

The plot is enhance by the creation of an extension of three levels in a metallic structure which softens this very mineral area and protects users from neighboring views.
