The Kanoun tea room/pastry shop was designed around the guiding vision of its owners to offer revisited and lighter versions of oriental pastries in a modern and refined place.

The project aimed to achieve a sober and refined interior architecture with no ostentation in the decoration, but rather a selection of high-quality materials in accordance with the requirements of the proposed kitchen. Between the red brick columns of a recent building, large bay windows create a calm and luminous atmosphere. On the front, the dark blue and golden brass details invite you to walk through the door hidden between two imposing curved glass panes. The kitchen is visible and open to the street to attract passers-by.

The counter, carved in ribbed Carrara marble, is placed in front of a monumental custom mirror engraved with the identity of the place.

To reinforce this identity, Studio Vincent Eschalier designed various pieces of furniture, including round tables in Corian and light concrete and a bench that follows the rounded shapes of the alcoves. The white walls of these three niches display a vegetal design in black lines by artist Boris Deltchev.
